after falling in love with the Retro line we love the 181b, however, we cannot find any in Florida, Georgia or Alabama. We really need to see the 181b and sit in it before ordering one with the options we'd like. Anyone know why there is a shortage of 181b's??

I had the same issue when I started looking for one in April of last year. I finally lovated one in Arizona. I am in California. The salesman told me this particular model is not in demand enough for them to carry in stock. I bought the ine had. It is just my 80 yr ild mother and I in the trailer and have found some challenges but mostly with the positioning of the bathroom sink & mirror. Otherwise we love it

In my opinion the 181b is the perfect trailer. I would hold out and keep looking until you find one to walk in. I love mine and use it at least once a month. If you want more pictures of the inside or any details just let me know and I'll send you some.

My dealer shows one in inventory in Boyertown, PA. Have you checked RVTrader or similar sites?

I like them also, but had to stay smaller because of my tow vehicle. I have a 166, but my next one will have a real bathroom and shower.

thanks for the responses. We decided to go with a Winnebago product this time around.

Probably a very good idea,, Winnebago has a history of quality built products.

I live in Connecticut.  We purchased our 181B in Aril 2017 in Ludington Michigan.  We drove out and camped back.  We also took it cross country (11000 miles) in the summer of 2018.  We absolutely love it.  I have three children.  My boys 13 and 11 sleep in the bunks.  My daughter, 8, sleeps with us in the gigantic U shaped dinette.  We also have the larger fridge which I think is the way to go if you have a choice.

I occasionally look around for 181B.  I can't seem to locate any.  Are they still being made?

A.J. : The 181b model was dropped after 2018.  We love the vesatility of the bunks, the  party sized dinette and the BIG double bed....... I’m guessing the permanent bed models sold better.

That is too bad.  We love our 181b. The dinette/bed is perfect and functional.  We (five of us) did an 11,000-mile cross country trip in the summer of 2018 and "Big Red" held up fine.
