Beach camping on the Oregon coast about 80 miles from Portland OR.  A decent golf course.  Great bike/walking trails.  Calm bay for kayaking/boating.  And a cute little downtown walking distance from the campground.  They have 100+ sites and every one is a back in and has hookups.

It's a family friendly place with a playground, a horse camp, even an airfield where small planes fly in and camp!

We like to walk along the beach (of course) and enjoy the nice restrooms with complementary Hot showers.

Sometimes we spend our entire trip time in the campground and on the beach, and other times it is more of a home base for exploring up and down the coast.

We visit here 6-8 times a year (but we live in the area).  I highly recommend visiting if you find yourself along the Oregon coast sometime. CLICK HERE for the website.

Just returned yesterday from 8 days on the Oregon coast. 2 nights at Honeyman near Florence, 2 nights at Beverly Beach near Newport, and 3 nights at Nehalem Bay. My first time North of Lincoln City. Very beautiful, all nice State campgrounds.
Went to Lewis and Clark N.P. and a few State Parks and ate lots of fish. We were in E loop. Arrived on Thursday and had the whole place to our selves. When we returned from our day trip on Friday there wasn't an empty site! You can't beat the Oregon Park system!!

We are also heading up towards Beverly Beach and Depoe Bay.  Plan on also visiting Medford and a friend in Bend.  First trip to Oregon since I was 3.  Camping along the way but unfortunately I cannot tow a trailer yet since my injury, so we will be using our new Ram truck with a walk in camper shell.  Really wish we could take the Retro but doctor and wife says no.
