I have the oven in my camper, and have a bit of trouble cooking with it... even biscuits can get burned on the bottom. For example,
When I make biscuits I put them under the broiler, then move them up above in the oven section, then back to broiler. Then they come out perfect. Otherwise if you just put them in the oven area, the bottoms are burned by the time they are baked.

So, I thought it would be great to see what others do and how they use the oven.

The oven design I'm not happy with...
To light the pilot. You have to open the door, kneel down, reach all the way to the back with the long lighter, push the button in on the pilot setting to ignite it. Then release the knob. Remove your arm, get back up, then turn to a temperature to ignite the burner.
I'll try to put some pics on here.

It helps but didn't solve the problem.

I don't have an oven, so can't speak first hand - but seen several posts and friends have a pizza stone that they put in the bottom of the oven.  Seems to inevitably crack/break in 2, but still seems to help prevent hot spots - just not cooking directly on it after it's cracked.

I'll have to try out when I get back to Ohio. I have one there.

We just bought our 179 this weekend. I didn't get the oven because we have a small Nu-Wave oven that I think will work perfectly for us instead. We're moving up from a 16' Scamp so this is very roomy for us!

Sue, congrats on the 179 purchase. We moved from a 17' Casita to a 179. The extra room has made a lot of difference in the comfort level. Xtra width, I think is the best part, but 4 more feet in length gives us a nice front table.
Happy Trails!
