This is a typical good water heater. But I actually had a problem when I first took the TT out this season. No hot water. Couldn't figure out why and couldn't get it to work.
There is a circuit board attached to the Styrofoam hot water tank with double stick tape and a plastic cover.
Well,  the pics will show you why.  It shorted out. Don't what caused it. But the replacement works fine.
Keep in mind to check this in case you don't have hot water.
Cost is approx $80
It might be a good idea to keep a spare if you are going on a remote camper run.

Also don't forget to double check your bypass valves are in the right position.

I'm up in the mountains rite now. Water heater was working now it's not. I was researching and saw your post. I took a look at my circuit board and it looks just like yours. Short in the exact same spot. Thanks for the post. Glad to have found the problem, still, only the fifth time I've used it. Should last longer than that.

You might want to contact Suburban. There's a known issue.

Thanks for the link.
Interesting. I'm surprised that there wasn't a recall and/or replacements just sent to current owners.
