Snazzy stuff!
My wife's heart skipped a beat when she saw your retro tail light posting. It looks like I'll have to order the side lights too.  What did you mean when you said "So had to open them up a 1/8"? Did you grind the inside diameter?
Thanks for sharing your brilliant ideas.  Please keep them coming so that I may continue to steal them.  [wink]

The Style I ordered says 2 1/2 but actually it has a 2 3/8 ID. So I put a inch diameter drum sander in my drill press and opened up the ID. Use a slow rpm or it will just melt the plastic. I used 600 rpm. They do make 2 1/2 inch bezels but they are flat not rounded like these

I just took a chance sanding the ID out and they came out good and I kept checking them till they fit snug on the side lenses now I have 7 more to do on my running lights. It makes a big difference on the looks of the Retro. Don't know why the factory doesn't do it makes it more retro with some chrome.

We just added a little bling to Maisie (our 177SE) and she couldn't be cuter. There's a good chance that new 2 1/2 bezels are in our future. Robin, thanks for your excellent ideas and generous help with this.

Just got the rest of my bezels today. Had to install them. Sure does make cheap looking running lights look nice.

What a great idea, I've never seen these before and would love to get them. Where did you get them, and what size did you order. We have a 285FK. thank you so much

WARNING
I do not want to break your enthusiasm, on the contrary because it is true that it is pretty, on the other hand by adding this product you probably fall illegal on the road.

Why will you tell me?
Because this light has an essential passive safety element that we very often forget. The reflector which is all around the stop / flashing lights. Unless you add other reflectors behind your trailer, you risk receiving a traffic ticket.

This reflector is an emergency safety alternative in the event of your rear lights malfunctioning so that the other vehicles behind you can see you in the dark and not collide with your vehicle.

Now there is a choice, the beauty of the trailer, or your safety and that of other road users ???

No. It is just a factory sidelight lens that fell off maiden voyage. I called Kennedale camper sales in TX where we bought 285FK whitewater Riverside Retro  several times trying to buy factory replacement. 9  months and never replied. We dont know how to get hold of factory to see if we can buy. Light works, just lens missing. its just a reproduction of old lenses but seems we cannot get ahold of manufacture and sales place hasnt either.
