Has anyone painted part of the propane tank to match their aqua retro and if so do you have the paint color/number?[smile] and where it's from? Spray or brush on?

An auto paint shop can match color and sell you an aerosol can sprayer to apply with. Clear coat too for a shiney finish. [smile]

There are color codes for propane tanks. Google propane tank colors 101. Check that out before you paint your tanks.

I've seen pics of 1/3 of the tank painted! We hope to get around to doing it someday!

On the tv show Flippin' RV's and their followup two shows, they have shown pin striping propane tanks, which you wouldn't think would show up, but it does and looked really nice. They matched the trailer color.

I just Googled propane tank colors 101, because I've also thought about painting my propane tank silver and red, but the article cautioned against painting a propane tank any sort of dark, heat attracting color because the heat from the sun could raise the pressure inside the tank.

Guess I'll keep to my current practice of tying an apron onto my propane tank to decorate it.
