Our first trip was close to home so we could figure out what we were missing and to educate ourselves a little. A good time was had by all!

Pretty little Blue Boy sitting beautifully in the forest.  Wow!   I am glad you had fun and pray you have many more fun and safe trips.

We did a one night "evaluation" trip to a local state park before leaving our first extended three week trip. Glad we did! I discovered how much I didn't know!

We're going on a short shakedown trip close to home. Forecasted weather is mid to high 90s, lows about 70, with humidity in the 30-40% range. Are there any precautions we need to know to keep our new Dometec AC from freezing up? When we leave for a few hrs, should we keep it running? Thanks for your thoughts!

I would always run the fan on high.  control temp. by turning down from high cool to mid cool, toward the red.  We like to run a small fan to help keep air circulating.  Best wishes always and have fun.
