Hi all,

While I personally love the look of the Retro line, I found this new take on a old classic that I thought I'd share. Here's a link to see more.

My sincere apologies if this introduction of a competitive model offends any members.  It is not my intent to detract from the beauty of the retro.

In my mind, anything modern day retro is a good thing.  The whimsy of a simpler time where family values and heritage were passed down to the next generation around campfires.  It is my dream that this retro craze continues not only in design, but also in practice to preserve a time before electronic distractions where families can bond as a unit and create new memories.

We actually looked at those before the Retro (and a million other trailers) and decided against it for a few reasons...we thought the floorplan seemed a bit cramped by the front door, the bathroom sink right next to the kitchen sink seemed like a waste of space, and the interior build quality (cabinets, etc) seemed poor compared to others.

plus a single axle on a trailer that size is a real shame.

I like the outside. The inside, not so much - blue LED lighting and fabric walls just don't fit the concept.

I totally agree with the comments. (Especially the twin sinks lol)  The outside is cool but I think the Retro's have a much better use of space.

We wanted to check these Terry's out before we bought took us over a year to make the decision to by the Riverside 176s. I really like the looks of the Terry liked the floor plan better than the Riverside but didn't seem practical for us. I heard rumors that they have been having problems with them thats just rumors I haven't checked them out yet so don't know for a fact.

...but that tilting bed is pretty cool!

As a person that suffers from heartburn the tilting bed would be a plus.  I'm gonna have a chance to see one up close this weekend when we go see the Retro's.    Also, I'm not a fan of the blue lighting but has anyone added dimmable rope LED lights to their retro?

I could be wrong, but I believe the weight is a good bit more than most Retros.  For us that was a big factor in our choice because of our tow vehicle.  It is interesting though.

Well I saw one up close but couldn't get inside.  It was hidden in back in preparation for a show the dealer was heading to next weekend. The outside is beautiful.  Super shiny and very cool design.  But looking through the windows I didn't care for the interior as much.  To modern and no walk around bed.  It's a personal preference.  I like the diner/lodge look of Retro interiors so the the Terry classic is off our list.

I have also found forums and they are going through the new design blues. Quality control has been an issue which I'm sure will get resolved in later generations but I have no interest in being the guinea pig.

We looked at them and like the Retro floor plans better and the Retro weight is lighter for the same size trailers. Plus the Retro has a much better aerodynamic front and rear design which is much better for towing.
