Now don't get me wrong. I like the black and white just fine, what I hate is the floor material. Don't know what it is but my floor is IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean! I believe it has something to do with the floor material. It is somewhat of a Matt finish and rough. I think it just like to hold on to dirt and not let go.
Has anyone found an easy to apply flooring, that looks good and stays clean? Now I realize While camping it is gonna get dirty but we do wipe our feet and take our shoes off at night.
HELP!!!!!!!!

I am interested in this also. Peel and stick tiles seem to be the way to go but can be costly. I am looking into sheet linoleum as it is more cost effective but may be difficult to put down without being cut into smaller sections. I am finding varying advice on how to prepare the existing floor if the new floor is put directly over the top of the existing, which I would prefer for simplicity sake.
Has anyone tried this themselves?

Sheet vinyl is pretty simple. Pull the base molding, cut a template, cut vinyl to match, glue edges, replace molding.

It goes over other surfaces just fine with no prep.

I did vinyl "wood" floor in mine. Same idea but added a sheet of poly underlayment for water proofing. Little more work. There's a pic on here somewhere.

Tom, are you adding storage access under the bed, assume this is a 155. Floor looks great, what was your original?

Hey Tim, yes it a 155. Original floor was sheet vinyl. Added drawers under the bed and also dinette, the side without the heater. Mrs Tom likes that. 🙂

I have to throw my two cents worth in and say I agree.  Honestly I was never overly fond of the black and white, but I could live with it.  I can't live with the aspect of the material.  It does attract and hold dirt!  I was thinking about having a slim layer of lightweight wood flooring put in.  Opinions?

See the wink? Joking. You can put any flooring in you want but I can't recommend marble.

Lol, colour me gullible!  Now I'm thinking black and white checkered marble!

I think that would look nice, maybe marble and slate.

Really though, by "wood" I presume you mean Pergo or one of the many similar laminates. Yes, you can put it in but camping leads to wet and the MDF wood backing absorbs water, even the better brands. When the MDF gets wet it swells and the floor is wrecked.

Consider 100% waterproof vinyl plank instead.  Cost a bit more.  That's what my pic above is.

Have fun. 🙂
