Picked up our new 195 this week. Thrilled with the way it turned out. We had all doors, covers and access panels color- matched. Paired with a '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi and factory tow package plus BlueOx Sway Pro WD hitch. After 10 years of Class A Motorhomes (last two years full time) we are really excited to get back to camping and having access to places we couldn't go in the big rigs. This forum has already helped out with questions on our new TT. Thanks for this great resource! Tom&Mary from Grand Haven, MI.

Classy livery. Did you contract directly with the factory?

When we decided to purchase this trailer, I spoke to Riverside about purchasing direct and they indicated it could only be done through a dealer. Our dealer experience actually went quite well with Sun and Fun RV in Coopersville, MI.

I love this Retro 195, and I have a Honda Pilot 4 WD. It's rated for 4,500. That's supposed to be for trailer, stuff and people all together isn't it or do you not count people? I forget...thanks, Sally

My understanding is that you count the weight of people also.  This gives you a more accurate number of total pounds the TV is hauling.  Trailer, gear, tongue weight, propane, batteries, and people. Many people suggest taking your trailer to a truck weight scale and weight it and then the TV.   I have not though.  I have a F-150 eight cylinder and it pulls our 195 just fine.

Agree with all previous replies! Really unique appearance, well done. Post some interior shots when you can.

PS- Do they still say- "let's fish again, west Michigan!", like they did when I went to MSU?
