Just got back from a week at Lobster Buoy.  Right on the Maine coast.  Beautiful scenery, kayaking, lobster, and enjoying the area.  Water and electric hookup and dump station.  Very basic but kept that way on purpose.  Reasonable rates. Looks like a great spot. Love to see the various places Retros go.

I've been to the Maine coast and all the coasts east and west. Including alaska.
Nothing comes close to the Maine coastline. It is awesomely beautiful.
Thanks for the pics.

The TT looks great and the site is beautiful.  I will add to my bucket list.  I have been to Maine and traveled over the state, but have not been camping there yet.

Highly recommend, Jim.  Just a note.  They don't take credit cards.  Only check or cash.

Beautiful location! It's great being by the water like that. I went tent camping near the water at Camden, Maine several years back.  Loved the lobster and blueberries we enjoyed, including lobster we cooked in a big pot at the campground, and lobster rolls in town. It rained every day. For us Californians who don't see much rain all summer long it was a bit of a shock. Think how much more comfortable it would be to crawl into your comfy bed in your Retro trailer... I might want to go back to Maine with the trusty trailer, though you would still need the rain boots to slog around in the mud puddles.

That's the thing about Maine weather.  You never know what it's going to do.  We try to go prepared for anything.  But it's worth it!
