I have almost completed my project. The under the bed and dining area are done. I used 1 inch r max to line the compartments. I used the silver metal foil tape to fasten them to the wall and each other. From what we have done has made the diff of 5 to 10 degs inside the Retro. We noticed the heater has not been cycling on and off as it use to do. Next are the windows I think we are going to use the foil bubble insulation with velcro fasteners.I am sure this will also help this summer to keep us a little cooler. GBA!!SVJ

for starters any portion on of the floor that was in a storage area. I used R max 1" alum foil insulation and sealed with the alum tape used for sealing heater ducts. The  side walls of same storage areas I used the pink rigid 1" insulation ( i think Corning )and used same tape.  All other area side walls under the sink and water heater furnace area I used the alum bubble insulation foil( careful around heater area. The front window I use double bubble foam with velcro so easy to remove. Banged my head a few times and gave up but almost done . If I did it at 74 years old it can be done. ha ha GBA!!SVJ

Joe, Congrats on a job well done. I had to get under my trailer yesterday to check water line and my body did not like it. I empathize with your body after what you have done!  Did you take before/after pics?
