We are on the verge of taking delivery of our new red and white Retro 195. We are moving up from our trusty Nash 17c (hopefully no regrets) to gain a full time bed and that cool front dinette.

We drove 2 hrs to do the "walk through" and for the most part found the trailer nice and tight with very few issues. Unfortunately the biggest issue didn't get resolved before hand even though we ask for it to get fixed when we signed papers - that was a panel in the back side drivers side near the TV that isn't attached to the "stud" at the tape joint. hopefully they will fix it properly so we can make the trek there in a couple of days again and actually bring it home. The other issues were an un-tightened spare tire, a loose and poorly caulked licence plate holder and the bathroom door doesn't seat flat in the jamb.

Am sure you'll love it.  We've been pleased with our Retro - got her back in March & have camped just a few days shy of a month's worth total.  Attracts a lot of attention in campgrounds too.  Enjoy!

Reed family, I pray your Retro will be ready and that you have great fun and safe trips.  We really enjoy our 195.  May God watch over your travels.

It's nice to hear from other Washingtonians. We are from the South East part of the state. This is our second summer with our 166. We just returned from a three night stay at Silver falls state park in Oregon. The trailer worked beautifully and we had a great time viewing the ten water falls within the park. Interesting, last summer we didn't see one Riverside retro in all our travels. On this trip alone we passed five on the highway between Walla Walla and Salem. They are catching on.

We live in North East Oregon and are starting our second summer with Trixie, our red/white 176s. Love it...still trying to get used to the small bathroom...but we do turn heads when we travel. We have really enjoyed it, I hope you make happy memories in yours.

Mr. Bates, thank you for sharing pictures of the falls, very pretty.  Camping next to the falls is much more relaxing than staying at the Bates Motel and not near as dangerous for the mother.  lol

Yes AJ. It was relaxing to get away and enjoy God's creation, particularly with the fact that we happen to live on Elm Street as well. A double whammy. [smile]
