Thanks for the share fireblot looks like a nice unit.  I'm learning as I go and Mikes wisely has me thinking about noise levels.  When you run two in parallel at full load (rated 51dB each at idle) is it too loud for campgrounds or are they only used for boondocking?  I

will be buying a quiet generator this fall for tailgating but will also use it camping and don't want to be "that guy" with the annoying generator.

C GARS:  I don't want to be "that guy" either!  A single AP2000iq is reasonably quiet and is very comparable to the more expensive Honda EU2000i. Two of them start to get noisy (chained for AC). I don't think any genset that's big enough to run an AC unit will be particularly quiet, so I plan to build 'hush boxes' that can sit in truck bed and isolate the sound as much as possible. Also, I am working on a solar panel setup to cut down on recharging and a second house battery to extend my 'boondock' time. My current 650 AH battery starts to get low after 48 hours. Elsewhere on this forum there some great suggestions on how to trim back power consumption.
