Teardrop-Quebec

Teardrop, those are the spring bars that are part of the weight distribution hitch in your picture. When I searched for "(equ-i-lazer e2 twist bars) " all I see are candy bars.
I have used WDH on both of my trailers. Seems that you would have researched the quality before you purchased. That being said, WDHs are rated to evenly distribute your trailer weight and are sold based on the trailer weight anf the tongue weight. As long as you purchased the proper hitch based on weight, they should cause you no harm. The need for those WDHs is also based on your TV and it's relationship to the trailer being towed.
Do you have any specific questions about that hitch, if so , please provide an Amazon product # or Picture of your sales confirmation.

I would like to know if it is a reliable and safe product. Knowing the strengths and weaknesses, good and bad experience with occurs in order to know how to use them properly and be able to help me in case of problems

Thanks for the specs. As long as you keep within the recommended trailer weight of 6000 lbs and tongue weight of 600 lbs you should be fine. No real moving parts to cause problems. The anti sway mechanism style can be noisy, but safe. Make sure the unit is installed correctly. My Retro dealer installed the WDH but did not fine tune the adjustments. Lots of info on Youtube. At that price point, it should be a quality tool.

That's a good price for that hitch (but it's now shown at C$744.92, which is way too much). We have the exact same one for our 177SE. Works great, no problems

You have to be careful, it is the same item, but it is not the same seller. I bought it directly from Amazon.ca. On Amazon there may be an impressive price range for the same item.

I have E2 with straight bars. Curved bars on unlifted, or stock height 2013 trailer rub the ground. Bought at e-trailer.com. Don't remember price. Have 177se. After market trailer hitch on Toyota Highlander is lower than factory hitch.

That is the hitch that the dealer chose to install before I towed my 177SE with my Toyota 4Runner. No swaying issues down the highway at all. Seems to work just fine. Hope you have many happy trips with it.
