Helli everyone!
We are thinking about changing our door  lock.
Saw some keypad options, has anyone changed to this.
Still not sure I want to put a black handle on a white door.
My thoughts were changing just the cylinder.
Any ideas?  or if this can even be done.
This is for more safety reasons, as I keep seeing that the standard lock is common and there are many that have master keys.
TIA

We installed a keypad/remote RV Lock (and keyed alike access panel locks)  on 177SE earlier this year.  It is not inexpensive but bought it when it went on sale. Everything was easy to install and program and appears to be heavy duty. Unfortunately due to the CV-19 issue we have not used the RV yet so it has not seen a lot of use.

We don't keep anything of great value inside our Retro that would require an expensive lock. I am personally more concerned about having the whole trailer driven away. I have thought about a new door lock but probably will wait till this one breaks. Hope one of the windows is unlatched!!!!!

@Cachastney thank you, hopefully you get on the the soon then later.

@mkevenson  we are having some issue with the lock hence why it is a question. Looking for options. First for security then cost effective and also ecstatically. Thank you

@Dukeydrea - agree...our deadbol door latch has started sticking and catching badly. I've been loading it with graphite, and that's good for a bit...then it won't turn. At all. Afraid the key'll snap off inside the lock. Fortunately, keep the graphite in one of the outside storage hatches, and can re-do the fluid and get the lock to turn. Or maybe there's a better material? Anyone rely on a superior lock lube to graphite?
