Our last trip of the season-- Towed RetroKit over the Colorado Rockies on Halloween to camp in Arches NP and hike in Canyonlands / Island In The Sky. Fortunately we had good weather the entire trip. P1020319.JPG Campsite.

Beautiful trailer and beautiful scenery.    I enjoyed walking on Mesa Arch in Canyonlands NP.  The old 1890's ranch still Standing in  Arches NP was a great view into history.

Thanks. We are already setting up our early journeys for next season, and Canyonlands is on the list. We barely touched the Island in the Sky division, and there are three other parts of the park.

Great pics. I'll be heading there in the spring on the way back from AZ.
Any coordinates on that campsite with the view...

I thought the Devil's Garden was the best place in arches and Canyon Lands... what a great place to have a picnic.

Most campgrounds were full. I boondocked north of Moab for a few days about 10 miles outside of town.
Moab was a tourist trap and expensive.
I recommend trying OK RV PARK 3310 Spanish Valley Dr. I stayed there for 3 nights in the overflow with electric and water. $30 per night. Views were nice.

This was the best deal in town.
Here are views from campground.

I am in Idaho now. Burley area. If there are other Retro's around here, let me know if you would like to get together. Planning on fly fishing and boondocking next week and continue fishing...

It was a cold start to this week... but fishing today was awesome!
I did go to Bell Rapids in Hagerman and boondocked last week. Great place to boondock. I'm back in Heyburn until Sunday. Then off to see Craters of the Moon.

What do you do to ensure water does not freeze in the pipes and tanks?

We have always stayed at Ok, best deal in town. The road to it is a speed trap, watch out!

Thanks for the pics. Brings back great memories.
My favorite was Bryce Canyon. Especially Inspiration Point there.
Keep on camping!
