Who has a black tank flush system? Is it effective, or is a wand just as good? I realize the convience of an installed system as opposed to bringing a hose into your trailer. My 180R has the door very near the toilet. What are your experiences with these or is there a better way. I'm brand new to this stuff

I'd be curious too!

I want to see someone with experience answer this.  My gut tells me that it is fine just to use a wand.  I await the factual answer.

Wand works better, get one with a shutoff valve, which makes it easy. Connecting a hose to an auto-flush is a PITA in comparison.

We were told that because of the curve in the pipe the flush system wouldn't work very well for this camper. Wand is simpler, cheaper and does a good job.

When you say curve in the pipe do you mean the outtake pipe from the black water tank? The flush system I meant is the one that is installed into your black tank that has a hose  attachment( like the Tornado Rinser)

We were told by a service guy where we purchased that to add one like tornado you had to remove the floor under the shower and to add one at the front of the pipe would not work because of a curve in the pipe. We opted for the very easy wand and have found it works quite well. But second opinions at your dealership might yield another set of options? I'm always for the simplest and most reliable option.

Thanks thats something I have to look for. I don't have my 180R yet so I'm not sure how easy or hard access is to the black tank
