I am lucky I guess we have had 2 Interstate Deep Cycle Rv batteries in the 150 going on 5 years come Sept. From previous post here I thought I would be replacing then after 3 years. I leave it on shore power year round but run the batteries for a week then back to shore power .Both are at full charge and holding.GBA!!SVJ so much for me going to Lithium ( Mark) tooo expensive. Hi Joe, that is really wise advise.  Do you mean turn off shore power for one week, once a month?
I know you have advised that before and I am now a true believer.  I foolishly left the WFCO converter powered up all winter, and my several year old group 27 marine battery dried out and is now totally dead.  I will treat my nice new Trojan battery much better.

yes I leave front light on by propane tank to put a draw on battery. This works we live a 5000ft high desert and temps get down to low 20's in winter. I bought the Retro used from  dealer and they put 2 new batteries when we bought it in Sept 2015. As I posted before Interstate has a factory down the road they told me biggest problem with rv batteries is people let them get lower than  50% and that is what kills them. Trojan make great batteries they costly but one of the best for industrial use forklifts and pallet stackers etc  GBA!!SVJ

I have a single 27 that came With the trailer, 3 1/2 years ago, still working fine. That said, I don’t boondock. I also stay on shore Power year round.

I finally have to replace my battery. I think the boondocking took a toll on it... i think running the heater fan at night in the winter AZ desert to stay comfortable probably wore it down from time to time. But not sure which battery I'll get. Have to do a little research on it. But if im going to do extended boondocking again, I'll check into portable solar panels.

BTW, it's still the original battery. And it's a few years old.
