Has anyone added an awning to a Whitewater Retro?  I have a 155XL which does not have a track for an awning and want to add one.  Wondering what is involved and what type of awning to look at.

Thanks for any information.

you have to buy the whole kit. Ask people on this form that own te 155 what lenght theirs is. My 150 is longer that the 155 because of the canned ham style of the 155 rather than the box look ot the 150. Install is not too hard but make sure EVERTHING is well sealed chaulking and putty tape. We have a 2018 157. Had a local RV shop call Riversde to confirm our trailer was built with proper backing for an awning and the type they install at the factory. Had a 6ft Truckin'Awn installed and are very satisfied!

on the 150 awning was  option. I beleive it also was on th 155. Not sure what is meant by backing, The screw into the frame work. What year is your 155xl. Most of the 150 we looked at had awnings that was in 2015 same for 155. GBA!!SVJ

If I had to get or replace my awning I would seriously look at Fiamma. I had one on my last trailer and the benefit to the stock one on my 179 SE is that when retracted the  Fiamma , the awning is encased in a solid cover/housing.  They are probably more expensive than some others but a well respected Italian company who was always willing to talk and help it's customers.
