As they say, nothing is easy! I know some of you have seen our recent efforts to install the lift kit on our 2015,and then how it looks with the sad little 13" tires. Already knew we were going up to 14"s (yes, I've heard it said we could do 15"s...I'm chicken), and purchased awesome Maxxis radials. I won't go in to the woman-brain thing - or the email with Riverside parts - that allowed me to think I could just put bigger tires on the stock rims...

Obviously, no. And I won't share my secret publicly of my conversation with Laura Kay (whom I am nominating for sainthood), but suffice to say that 3 new 14" rims arrived at my house today. If you've seen our photos, our Retro is the old-school aqua and white. The rims... Red. Well, we aren't as much of sticklers for authenticity or matchy-matchy as some here, and our stock rims are black with the chrome spaceship hubcap.

So this was me with a glass of wine this afternoon...

Thanks Tom!  I'm a little sad we didn't go to 15"s, as someone in the Facebook group just posted their 155XL lifted with the 15"s and it looks great...but, oh well!

It took me two tries to get the wheel/tire setup I wanted, so don't feel bad...[cool]

Here's the final outcome with lift kit and 14" Maxxis.

Looks like plenty of clearance - shouldn't give you any problems...[thumb]
